Charleston Area Medical Center was in need of artwork for their recently built Teays Valley Outpatient Center, especially large format pieces for the atrium space and main waiting area.
We chose images that reflect West Virginia’s natural beauty and thus adding biophilic, healing elements to the interior spaces.
Additional pieces were chosen for individual waiting areas and a large conference room. Many of these are very large and were framed locally. (Check out this video testimonial about our redesign of Art Emporium‘s gallery and frame shop in downtown Charleston.)
In addition to the Teays Valley facility, Women and Children’s Hospital in Charleston asked us to select and purchase artwork for their main cafeteria, a space used by patients, families, and staff.
We also provided artwork for the lobby at Memorial Hospital’s Heart and Vascular Center. The digital directory and wood back panel was already in place and they needed two pieces of artwork to complete the installation.
