Two of New River Community & Technical College’s campuses needed furniture designed and specified and Watkins Design Works won a bid for this work.

The Beaver, WV campus has a large multi-use space in need of flexible and moveable furniture. The pattern on the lounge chairs picks up on the circular lobby and floor tile colors.
Chairs upholstered in the same pattern, but different colorway add brightness to a wide corridor.
The CTC board meets in this larger conference room.
This building at the Lewisburg campus showcases original wood floors and large new windows. It is also a multi-functional space and required flexible furniture. In this case, the fabric pattern picks up on the angles of the space, and plays on New River’s logo colors in a fresh new way.
Comfortable, private carrels are located in a wide corridor on the lower level.
We worked with the existing paint colors, and specified blue classroom chairs in rooms with green accent walls…
…and green chairs in rooms with blue accent walls. All teacher stools were orange, to add some consistency with the Beaver campus.
